Everything you need to know before choosing a plan
- A token is a unit of AI engine usage. Each time Foglift queries an AI engine (like Perplexity or ChatGPT) with one of your prompts, it costs tokens. Different engines have different token costs, ranging from 1 to 5 tokens per query.
- AI monitoring pauses until your tokens reset at the start of your next billing period. You can also purchase additional token packs ($9 per 500 tokens) to resume immediately. All non-token features (audits, history, crawlers) keep working.
- No. Unused tokens expire at the end of each billing period. Your balance resets to your plan's allocation each month. Purchased token packs are available immediately and persist until used or the period ends.
- No. The Free tier includes 200 tokens/month and unlimited Website Audits — no credit card required. Just sign up and start monitoring.
- Yes. You can change plans anytime from the billing settings in your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing cycle.
- Foglift monitors visibility across five AI engines daily: ChatGPT (with web search), Perplexity, Google AI Overview, Claude, and Gemini. All engines are available on all plans — you choose which to activate. Each engine has a different token cost.
